There is an officially recognised Public Right of Way between Askham Richard and Askham Bryan from Jackson's Walk going past Taylorhall Field Plantation and emerging at Askham Bryan near Westwood Farm.

However, the Parish Councils of both villages are looking to get official recognition for another path which runs from Buttacre Lane.

We believe that many of our residents use (or have previously used) this path. In order to get official recognition, we need evidence from those who have used this path over the last twenty years or more.
